Owen Buckland - President / Teacher Trainer

The founder of Buckland Group and Vice-Chairman of China Bilingual Education Association, Owen Buckland, has been an English and Chinese culture instructor for 18 years. After owning a language school and translation company, he established the Buckland Group in 1999. Since that time he has developed the company into one of the largest and most respected foreign teacher placement agencies in China. He is constantly utilizing his vast resources and experience to ensure that all Buckland teachers live and teach in China happily and safely. Owen has created a unique English teaching and learning method called F.A.C.E.S. and gives motivational lectures to thousands of students every year.

Frank joined the Buckland team in 2002, holding a master degree in history from the University of Science and Engineering in Shaanxi. He is now in charge of the overall administration of teaching program and Buckland Xian office.

Yuki is in charge of the office staff and has rich experience in foreign affairs. She will meet you the first time you come to our Buckland Group with a warm welcome and be happy to help you in the affairs of accomodation and transportation, also living support and dealing with any problems after you go to school.

Peter Xu is the assistant of General Manager , he is the organizer of TESOL International China Program while at the same time he will fix your computer problem or internet issues.

Holding a master degree in TESOL from SUNY New Paltz in America and having ESL teaching experiences in both of China and America, Ping will answer your questions regarding teaching in China and assist you in your transition to a Chinese culture with her enthusiasm, professionalism and cross-cultural living experiences. Ping mainly takes care of teacher recruitment, replies to your inquiries, coordinates paperwork for you to come over to China, boosts your teaching ability to succeed and places you at the Chinese school.

Robert Hale

Teacher Trainer / Instructor / Guide

Joined Buckland in 2011, with extensive teaching experience both in England and China, gives orientation to the new teachers, trains, and helps new teachers to prepare a teaching plan, evaluates practical teaching, as well as provides teaching support for all current teachers.
